Privacy policy

Human Performance Consulting LLC ("HPC", "we", "us") runs hpconsulting.pro, the Mission-Based Resilience course, the AI coach on our site and the HPC member community. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have a question, email hpchq@hpconsulting.pro.

Information you give us

• Forms. When you request a quote, ask about speaking or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, email, phone, organization, role and message.
• Membership. When you join, our community platform (Heartbeat) collects your name, email and profile details. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Course and check-ins. Your course account, your progress and your answers to resilience check-ins.
• The AI coach. The messages you send the coach and its replies.
• Email and messages. Anything you send us directly.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your browser and device, the pages you view, the site that sent you and an approximate location based on your IP address. We use Squarespace's site analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for this. Clarity shows us how visitors use our pages, such as where they click and how far they scroll, so we can fix what's confusing. These tools use cookies and similar technologies. The site also remembers which version of the site you chose (first responders, business or individuals) in your browser.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and prepare quotes and program briefs.
• To run your membership, the course, the AI coach and live sessions.
• To send the emails you've asked for, such as weekly training and account messages.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To keep our services secure and meet legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal information.

The AI coach

The AI coach is an AI system trained on Dr. Naggiar's teaching. It is not Dr. Naggiar and it is not a doctor or therapist. Your messages are processed by the services that run it (Zapier and Anthropic) to produce replies, and they may be stored by those services under their own policies. Please don't share anything with the coach that you wouldn't want processed this way. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.

If your organization provides your membership

When a department, agency or company pays for your access, we share participation and progress with your organization as group numbers only. We don't give your employer your name next to your answers, your check-in results or your conversations with the coach.

Who we share information with

We share information only with services that help us run HPC, and only as needed: Squarespace (website, forms and email), Heartbeat (member community), Stripe (payments), Google (analytics and email), Microsoft (Clarity), Zapier and Anthropic (the AI coach). We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

How long we keep it

We keep information as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete it.

Your choices

• You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us.
• You can unsubscribe from our emails with the link in any email.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
• You can cancel your membership any time from your account settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws. Email us and we'll help.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on established providers for hosting and payments. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission.

Children

Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and you must be 18 or older to buy a membership.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we'll tell members by email.
